The government of Rwanda has implemented several gradual policy measures to promote the electrification of public transportation, but public transportation operators have been cautious about purchasing electric vehicles due to high upfront capital expenses, unknown resale values, and a lack of local maintenance facilities. IZI's innovative "pay-as-you-go" service model overcome these challenges and offers a frictionless way for bus fleets of all sizes to migrate to electric vehicle fleets. Operators can enjoy average 40% operational cost savings with no upfront expenses, transforming their profitability and enabling them to meet the growing demands of the rapidly expanding urban population.
